Don't give up! And don't settle for a doctor who just keeps prescribing different meds!

I've had chronic, almost daily headaches for nearly 16 years. I've just recently found a neurologist who believed he could help me (2nd neurologist I've seen--plus chiropractors, dentists, MD, DO, etc). My new neurologist treated me for 3 months, with very little success. He then referred me to a neurosurgeon who believes my headaches actually begin in the nerves in my neck. I'll be having surgery in 3 weeks. It's the best news I've had in 16 years relating to these damn headaches! The thought of surgery is scary, yes, but the thought of being headache FREE is incredible and hard to imagine.

My point is...don't give up. Keep searching. Do your own research. Ask a lot of questions. Change doctors if you're not getting the results. There IS hope out there.

Good luck, and best wishes for a pain free day!!

Kristin
