The best thing to do is go to a doctor, and get your headaches diagnosed as migraines. Then once you know what it is that you have, I suggest that you look into ways to get rid of them. The doctor will try a bunch of drugs, but unless you enjoy having to take the day off work or school, I suggest you look into other ways to control them. The best way is to control your lifestyle. But unfortunately not everyone likes to look at their health as important.

I believe that headaches are a symptom of something else that is going on in your body. For example, some people find that chiropractic care helps. This may mean that one of their nerves that pass through the vertibrae was being restricted. So by chiropractic, they were able to fix that problem, hence the migraines going away. Some people might find that it is as simple as drinking more water (it was for me). My body was dehydrated, and it was trying to tell me by giving me a migraine. Other things that may work are aromatherapy, which relaxes your muscles in your neck and allows blood to pump properly. Apple cider vinegar, which increase the flow of blood through your body, and thins it out as well.

Good luck on your quest. I hope I have helped you a little. - Jes
