: : : I would like to know what my problem is. Whenever I get in the car, I just get the worst headaches, almost making me feel nausious, but its not car sickness. I have tried motion sickness pills and they do not work for me. I don't have any other problems with motion sickness, so I dont know what this could be. Please help!
: : Have you had your eyes checked lately? I'm thinking it may be one of two things..... Maybe when you go to drive, the field in which you focus in may be off, in need of glasses. The other thing is this: do you have any anxiety about driving? You may be getting tension headaches from that. I would definitely see an eye doctor first. If neither of these apply to you, sorry! I'm just trying to lend a helping hand!
: No, it is not from my eyes. I am 16 and just have been driving for a little bit. These headaches started before that, even though I had to get glasses to drive in. Unfortunately, even with the glasses I get the headaches, so I don't think there is any connection to that. And I love to drive, so I dont think I am anxious either. Thanks anyway.
My guess is that you may be allergic to something in the car unless this has happened with every car you have owned. You mentioned trying motion sickness pills but were these prescription strength provided by your doc or just something you bought at the local drug store. My two nieces get sick when they ride any distance in a car so having things happen only in a car is not unusual. You need to get this check by your doctor though so they can figure out what is causing it and get something to help you. Good Luck
