I hope you are in somewhat of a painfree..painless?? mode this morning. I am slowly recovering from the Trigger Point Injections and Nerve BLocks. I was extremly sore from them this time. Guess it was because of the severity of the spasms?
NO, NO, NO, you are not boring me at all. I am glad I am able to help you, even if it is a tiny bit...maybe just for support? Hopefully our chats on this board will help someone else.
I am sorry to hear you were denied the Botox shots. Have you talked directly to your insurnce company? That might help. I think you have to have a specific DX to get them. Among all my DX I have Tortocollis and Retrocollis, which is a severe ridigity of my neck. My neck curves due to the muscle spasms. Cerebral Palsy children have this syndrome (in various parts of their little bodies) and Botox is supposed to help them greatly.
If you will send me your email addy I will send you a link of another board I particpate in. It's for migraines, and even though I only have Migraines several times a year, I have found alot of support and info on chronic daily pain and chronic headaches that I have. Alot of people there also have muscle spasms which causes my headaches and there is alot of info on Botox and various other preventative and abortive RX's. I don't know if it is allowed to post direct links to other boards so I will send it to you directly.
Like I said before, email me if you would like to chat. I have met some wonderful online friends thru various boards that I continue to chat with for support, and just friendship. I wouldn't have made it thru the last week without a lady from NYC who had proven to be wonderful support for me.
