G'Morning Kim...

My heart and prayers go out to you. I too am in the same boat as you. I have tried everything and anything too. (might even try the soap thingy :) You might try reading my posts to Cindy, Victoria, Kristen and Kay.

I have so many headaches, basically just one constant one, that pain meds and muscle relaxers only give me about 2 hours of relief. It's not gone, but hanging in the background. My Neuro can't even believe the amount of pain I am in all the time.

I believe for me it will be a life long fight with this. I have had headaches of some type since I was 13. And only since my last of 3 fender benders, has my neck spazed out so much that I am dibilatated. I, too, stay in the bed alot while my kids are at school, then out of neccesity my day starts at 2:30. My house is a disaster, and my daughter is starting to use the excuse that she has a headache, so not to do her homework. It's really sad. But I try to do as much as I can, to set an example to them, that you CAN do something even with a headache and/or pain of some type. My husband is diabled due to a post op infection and tries to do what he can, but really is unable to do more than go to work to support the family. I can't work as I can't bend my neck for very long without severe spasms. And I don't think anyone will hire a person who is on constant Pain Meds. I would love to get even a part time job, just for a change of pace and get out and talk to ADULTS, but in my heart I know I wouldn't last. I've become a sad ghost of my former self.

I am on Prozac, to help with pain management and depression. I put on 25 lbs though, from Prozac and not being active anymore. But I find it DOES help with dealing with chronic, every day pain on a daily basis. You might give it another try. It works for me. I don't dwell on the pain anymore. I just do what I have to do and get by.

Lynda
