Hi Kim, Everyone has good suggestions here. Don't feel like a failure. You're not. You just need the right kind of help. Talk to your doctor or find one who is more sympathetic to you. I get headaches but they come from muscle spasms in my neck. A neuro put me on Neurotin for pain and I also take EffexorXR for depression. This combination has helped alot. I try to exersize and stretch regularly since I have other back problems too. But I walk sometimes just for my mental state. Start out slow at first - maybe 10 min. and build up from there. Find a friend who can help you. Hang in there because anything positive you do for yourselp will help. Keep us posted on how you do. I've found people here are very supportive.
: I am such a mess. I cannot find any doctors out there who will treat my pain. I get the "you don't want to be addicted to drugs do you?" speech every time. I have been taking Fiorinal and Soma daily for quite some time which just takes the edge off this crappy CDH. My depression is getting worse. The migraines are just monthly. No doctor I have seen has any sympathy for my chronic pain. I am a 31yo mom of 2 boys and have a great husband. Have never smoked, never drank alcohol. Have tried NUMEROUS medications to no avail, chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, naturopathic doctor, dietary changes, yoga, many different antidepressants. I just can't get over this constant pain and unhappiness. I am a stay at home mom who lives on the couch. Luckily I have a great dh who works all day and then comes home and does the housework as that is how incapacitated I am. Depression and pain.....what a great life I have. Does anyone have ANY suggestions at all as to what I can try, who I can see, what I can do to feel better? I really, really want my life back but I am so tired all the time (of which no doctor work up could find any reason for). I am just a loser, a lost case......
