Does anyone take the combination of the antidepressant Paxil with either Zomig or Imitrex? If so, how did it work for you, and if you no longer take it, why not?
I am hoping someone will shed some light on whether or not it is safe to combine the 2 as I am a migraine sufferer who is also feeling down a lot lately, but am holding off taking the Paxil as I heard it is a seratonin re-uptake inhibiter and Zomig/Imitrex also affects the seratonin levels. Please give me some feedback as so many people have said Paxil has helped their depression, but not sure yet as to the safety it the combination. One pharmacist and Dr. says its ok and 3 other pharmacists say they wouldn't take the risk. Any thoughts from anyone about this? Thank you.
