: I have been to many doctors trying to figure out what is causing my pain. First we thought I had sinusitus then I was tested and treated for allergies. Nothing is taking away the pain. I just went to another Ear, nose and throat doctor and he said everything looks fine. No one can find anything. My only other thought is that I am taking Ortho Tri-cyclen and wondering if this could be causing my problems. I started taking it in February and I can pinpoint my problems starting around there. Anyone else had this problem? This is my only hope. I have also been referred to a neurologist, but I wonder if he will find anything. Help!!!

I don't know if it does have to do with the pill or not, but its worth a shot maybe switching to something else or to stop taking it to see if that's what it is. I also have headaches, ear pain, jaw pain and back of the neck pain. It started for me about 8 weeks ago and I have tried numerous medications, have had two cat scans and am now going to have an MRI done. The doctors thought I too had sinusitis but the cat scans revealed nothing. I just had a baby 5 months ago and he was two and a half months old when this all started. Mine never ever totally go away but will lessen in severity. The latest diagnosis is trigeminal neuralga.. an MRI will rule this in or out. I also have been to an ENT and was told that I might have Meniere's disease,, although headaches are not normal with this. My internal med doc disagrees at this time. I just want relief and am ready to also try anything to stop the pain. Maybe it is hormonal in some way.
