Migraine in neck and facial/ jaw pain

I am miserable. I have been given allergy meds for this but nothing is helping. My neck pulsates (maybe artery) I have no idea it feels like several little knife stabs in my neck. My throat is not sore and I have no other health problems. Any ideas?
