i am thinking of getting an cochlear implant, i am 41 and have been wearing hearing aids since i was 5 and my hearing has gotten worse over the last couple of years, i have been told i was a good canadite for this and have gone thru all the testing, i am having a hard time making up my mind and would like feedback on whats its like to go thru with it, is it easier for someone who knows what sound sounds like? and how quick do you get back on your feet after surgery? i am looking into the bte and how good does that work. tammy
