infant hearing aids

My son is 6 1/2 months old. He has been wearing aids now for about 2 months. He has recently developed
the wonderful ability to take them off at will. He thinks they are 2 extra toys we keep behind his ears for
his pleasure. I was just curious if there are any other parents with infants in aids out there. We could use a
little help. My son was diagnosed with a mild loss at birth. We are lucky to live in one of the states
that require manditory testing at birth, his loss was mild and we would have most likely not noticed it until
he was 2-3 years old, and behind in speech. So the early intervention was recommended. He had been
doing fine, only taking them off when he was tired, or they were buzzing. But now it is a game. Any advice
would be greatly appreciated.
