Can anyone tell me if there ever has been a case of a person's ear canal's becoming more narrow as they age? I noticed over the last few years that I have been having a problem with plugged up ears due to wax. I wonder if my ear canals are more narrow? I started going to the doctor in 1996, and the cleaning lasted till 1998. The doctor cleaned them out again in 1998 and this time it only lasted till 1999. Last year it caused a cause of benign vertigo because of the blockage of wax in the ear canals. I have been using the at home ear wax removal system, with the drops and the small bulb syringe every month in 2000. I would like to find some way to keep the ears clear for longer than one month? Is there some kind of stronger medication that the doctor could prescribe, or some type of home remedy to keep the ear canals from becoming blocked with wax, which does affect my hearing as well. Thank you, Sam Smith
