My father just had a stent put in one of his arteries and when they went in a second time (by his doctors associate) they found that they had a leaky valve. What was told to us was that he needed a valve replacement very quickly. We were told that he could eventually have hardening and enlarging with irrepairable damage. Now he went to see his regular doctor and he is telling him that it is no big deal and that they will watch it and they normally don't do this type of replacement unless they are very bad off.
Please someone tell me where I get more information about this type of situation.
