Doreen, my husband has had heart arrhythmia for several years, but had had no pacemaker. The medications he takes have most definately caused impotence. It has really been a problem for us. He is presently taking a calcium-channel blocker, VERAPAMIL, and is now having to take Viagra to have sexual intercourse. As far as depression, that has not been a problem. Only anxiety over the impotence. Wish I could have been more encouraging to you. Good Luck.
