My cardiologist has told me that Toprol XL is the cause of my persistent, wracking dry cough. I am extremely uncomfortable due to this cough, but he has said it is necessary for me to continue taking it. Does anyone know of a solution or any tried-and-true remedies to this side effect? Thanks so much!
