Anyone else with these irregular heartbeats?

Since last year, I continue to experience these irregular heartbeats. I went to see a doctor and had numerous tests done. The holter test revealed PAC'S. Unfortunately that day of the test I seemed to have experienced only one of the singular forceful thuds that I usually feel. Sometimes during the day I will feel a whole line of them it seems. It does not matter what I am doing. I could be relaxing or trying to sleep and then I will feel them. Sometimes instead of a single one, it feels as if my heartbeat is delayed then regular then delayed again. Hope this makes sense? So my question is how can these doctors accurately diagnose irregular heartbeats when the holter test is really not that conclusive being that some of these irregularites aren't detected during the test. There are some days that I don't feel them at all and I think that everything is normal again. It is extremely annoying!!!! I also exercise and feel them during exercise. Like I stated before it does not matter what I'm doing... it just comes and goes. It's hard to explain exactly what these palpitations feels like to someone who never had them. All I know is that sometimes you really have to catch your breath. It is totally anxiety producing and I wish it would go away. I don't take any type of medication and to ease my mind I am finally seeing a cardiologist. I think having a specialist tell me that my heart isn't going to stop every time I feel the irregular heartbeats is reassuring enough for me. Please give some input.
