I've had two ablations. One in the early 80's when they did it during open heart. The last was in the cath lab. I assume that is how they will do yours. It's alittle uncomfortable when they put the cath in but otherwise it's not all that bad. they will give you plenty of "happy drugs" and that helps. You have to lie still for a few hours afterwards, but honestly its not that bad and you will feel so much better afterwards. I know the high heart rate can be a drag right now and you'll be glad to get rid of that. You'll do great. Let me know how you do.
