: : It now has almost been 2 months since my mother passed away. We have just made the final arrangements for her headstone. It really has been a long 2 months, the longest I have ever lived. Over the past 2 months, I have grown closer with my younger brothers and sister, and even with my step dad. I spend all night on the computer now-a-days, I used to stay up with my mom until she fell asleep around 1 or 2 in the morning, so now, I find it hard to fall asleep any time before that. We would watch I love Lucy, and the Honeymooners, I can't even turn to that channel anymore. As everyday that goes by, I miss her more and more. In three years I am going to be getting married, and I so badly wanted my mother to be there, that day. You really never realize how much you love someone, and how much that someone impacts your life until they are gone. I used to get annoyed having to run out in the rain, down the street to get my mom a Ginger ale soda, but now, i would give anything to go get one, as long as she would be here to drink it. I just wanted to post this message to one again, say thank you, for all the support you gave my mother and all of the love and friendships that came with it. It really meant alot to her, to read your messages, and emails. I know that where she is now, she is looking out for me and my family, but also you guys to, you meant alot to her, so i just wanted to thank all of you, for giving her that happiness. Thank you all.

: Brian, I wasn't on this board long enough to get to know you or your mother but your post is truly touching. I can only imagine the hardship you are going through. I haven't lost my parents but seeing your story is a real reminder to cherish all those around me. I thank you for sharing your very personal story with us. I hope your days become easier as they come.

Brian,
Your mother and I corresponded. I wrote to you right after she passed away. I along with others miss her also. She was a really nice person. She would be proud of you.
Thank You for sharing your feelings and keep in touch. You sound like an amazing young man. Congratulations on the future marriage. Did your mom know her?
Missy
