I read today that American Heart Association announced new procedures for cpr. Basically, it said layperson should forgo checking for pulse and untrained person should forgo mouth to mouth (and just to chest compression). It's supposed to cut time and increase likelihood of survival. I think that's good. I should really learn cpr so I don't feel so helpless if something happens. God forbid but my uncle and aunt have heart conditions and I'd like to be useful if anything happens.
