I don't know if you have had the surgery yet, but I do want to let you know that last year, my husband (@48y/o - 1st surgery was @ age 35y/o) had his 5th mitral valve replacement and he has had his aortic valve replaced once. I know exactly how you feel. You do have your youth to help you get through this quickly. It does get harder with age.
