: I read that estrogen therapy that people take for heart disease is not effective. The report even had a doctor quoted that people should not get on estrogen to reduce their risk of heart disease because it doesn't work. I've always heard people taking estrogen for it, now it's not a good thing? Did anyone else hear about this?
REPLY I don,t know but many persons take aspirin and there was a research paper which was not available to read which was headed -the differing effects of aspirin with hormones eie eithe r male or female hormones were going to affect aspirin and the patient taking aspirin in a specific way so I suppose any study of whether hormone therapy can help heart patients should take into account whether aspirin is being taken or not and which ses the patient is From fliveya
