: : : Dear John,
: : : I think you are on the right track. A good beta blocker and more importantly, a positive mental attitude will decrease palpitations. Apparently I have been banned from all of the health message boards and when I post something it is deleted. I miss you and Valerie. I hope you both are getting better and better every day. - Amos

: I agree...........I really enjoyed Amos's postings. Why do they delete them????? I think that is crazy. I don't understand why they would take someone with knowledge off the board??? It makes no sense to me.

: : Apparently whoever monitors the boards don';t like people who are knowledgeable and supportive, as they got rid of a lady named nancy o. and she was like Amos, smart, knowledgeable and made people feel better. When people are feeling down, another person paying attention to them and giving good advice is a Godsend.

You may be right. I offered to be a moderator on another thread and they asked my reason (s) for offering. I told them the truth. I told them that the board desperately needed someone with some knowledge of the subject and that this was painfull obvious. I didn't even get an answer from them, LOL. I just thought I would try to find time to help. The thread is old enough to be doing well, but it isn't. BUT, to offer some defense for the managers of this site, it might be well to remember that we shouldn't say what will help someone, in a definite manner, as if we are a professional and have the last word and knowledge on a medicine. That may be even be to invite lawsuit, even to the management, if they were to leave the comment on the board. We would be more appropriate to mention that a particular med was good for us, as an individual, or to a personal friend, etc., and to relate how it benefited us or the friend. It is also well to recommend that a person clear all meds, even over the counter or bought in a so-called health food store, with their own doctor before they use it---dale
