: I was curious to know if anyone has had a failed ablation? If so, what was your next step of treatment. I was placed back on medications after my failed ablation, but nothing is working. Did you have a tissue ablation or an SA node modification ablation? Most of my SA node was destroyed during my SA node modification ablation. I would like to hear from others who can relate and or have any advice for me. Thank you and hope everyone is taking care of their tickers. : ~Heather Heather, I also had a failed ablation and medication would not totally control my arrhythimias. I ended up having three sinus node modifications in all before I got a result. Unfortunately I ended up with a pacemaker as my sinus node was damaged in the process. However, I couldn't have gone on the way I was before the ablation. I was disabled by persistent tachycardia. Maybe you should consider another ablation if the problem is very troublesome for you.
