Hello. I'm a 23 year old that got a DVT(blood clot) from taking my birth control pills. I had no
other risk factors for a DVT. It was a large blood clot in my Ilioc vein (right above the thigh) and I still have a swollen leg after
2 months, though I am recovering. The reason I'm writing is to find out how long it took other people to recover from a DVT. I've been told 3-6 months, and I'm wondering if I'm going to be out of work that long. I'm also curious to see if any women have had a DVT while being pregnant. I'm not pregnant, but I'm hoping to have shildren sometime soon.
when I decide to get pregnant. I would like to know if I would be in serious risk of getting another blood clot and what would happen if I did.
