I don't know how long your palpitations last, but I suffer from them as well. I was diagnosed with SVT (Supra Ventricular Tachycardia) four years ago. My Doc prescribed a medicine called Inderol and it really helps - I just take it when the palpitations start. I also had a procedure called Radio Frequency ablation and it seemed to cure the problem until I got pregnant!! Anyway, I'm back on the meds and they really help. Good luck!
