I am 28 years old and male. I have had palpatations on and off for about 12 years. I was diagnosed with panic attack syndrome because of it. It isn't easy, but so far the doctors keep telling me it's okay. If you have allergies, sometimes that causes them. I have learned too that my body position has a lot to do with it to. Everyone has different bodies, although we have most of the smae organs. Some of our organs are placed closer to each other and sometimes they can touch when you lay a certain way or in case of the stomach, eat too much. It expands the stomach and bumps up against the sack of the heart causing the skipped or jumpy heart feeling. If you are overweight, it adds to this and I like many of you am overweight and have been trying to lose it. It's not easy, but it will defintely help.
