I have been on Digoxn for several years and it has not taken care of the AF. I am happy that the Digoxin has worked for your Dad. It was very thoughtful of you to respond to my message. Thanks again, Frank
: It has been documented that I have atrial fibrillation. My doctor wants to put me on either Betapace or Rythmol to correct this condition. As I understand it, the initial doseage of these drugs requires a 48 hour stay in the hospital for monitoring as they can potentially can have a life threatening effect on the heart. Does anyone have any experience with taking these drugs, know the side effects, or know of any other alternative to correct the AF???
