: I get my heart skipping beats sometimes when I exercise, for example when I go for a run. But it's not something that make me feel weak or faint. I was even told that it may be somgthing call long qt syndrom but my doctor gave me ecg and told me nothing is wrong. I don't know if that's good and I should just forget about it or if I should be looking for some kind of specialist to find wrong with me. Any ideas? Thanks.
Hi Matthew,I'm no doctor but I've had an atrial arrhythmia since I was 19,I am now 46 and in heart failure.I suggest you find a cardiologist that specialises in electrophysiology. You can get a holter monitor for 24hrs or a monitor that you wear for 30 days, this way you can press a button on the device when and if you have an episode.I went to numerous doctors before finding the right one who took the time to listen to me.There are different procedures and medications for rhythum disorders, get the right doctor to diagnose you properly and take it from there.Don't delay tho,it may or may not be serious, but don't take chances life is too precious, good luck,Suzy
