aaarrgh! i hate this! it happens to me all the time, but in both ears, when i'm trying to go to sleep. if i lay my head down on a pillow, with either ear down, i hear it loud and clear, and can't get to sleep because of it. i can't even sleep on my side anymore. only on my back nowadays. i just try to ignore it.
