: Hello I was wondering if anyone knows what would be looking at if we adopted a baby who was born with no left ventricle in her heart, she is having surgery tomorrow to give her one and my husband and I are wondering what we will be up against. If anyone knows please let me know. Thank you.
: AlissaAlissa,
I am 39 with Tricuspid Atresia...my left ventricle is missing. This heart condition is not a very common problem. I have not had not had any type of surgery but I am limited in physical activities. There have been a few others I've met through the message board with the same problem & we all struggle with physical limitation ie. steps, cold weather, bearing children etc. Please feel free to e-mail me PamDeterman@aol.com Sincerely, Pam
