:Alissa,
I run a support group in NH for families of children with congenital heart defects so I have met quite a few children with them.
My son Nicholas has about 7 different defects in his heart. I just want to let you know that they are doing some incredible things for these kids
in the medical community, and that they can be some pretty amazing children at times. It is incredible what some of these kids overcome and
you should always hope for the best and truly appreciate the life of these special little people that know just how to touch your heart.
Feel free to email me at haveheart@hercountry.com or check out my site at http://members.nbci.com/famswithhart which on the links pages can bring you to links on more information on teh defect as well as links to personal stories of children with similar defects.
My thoughts are with you.
Laura
