hello everyone, I have been lurking for a long time and actually did post a
few times about my diagnoses with postural orthostatic tachycardia.. i had
an appt with my cardio today and my meds still are not working.. i am on
atenolol .. they have tried florinef... and toradol on me and nothing is
working!! So finally my doc has decided to run more tests on me to see if he
properly diagnosed me... the only test that have been done are several
ekg's, and echocardiagram a tilt table test and they just did a thyroid
test today.. they have also done an adrinalyn test .. all were normal except
the tilt table.. it made me pass out and gave me an extreamly high heart
rate.. anyways.. i go back to the cardio on monday and he is gonna put me on
a home 30 day moniter where i call in and report everything that happens or
what i feel.. he told me that it is a little different than a holter moniter
so i was wondering if anyone could give me some info about this test..what
its like? how does it work? where are the leads connected and how do they
stay attached? what do you do when its time to bathe? Thanx so much,
