: : : test today.. they have also done an adrinalyn test .. all were normal except
: : : the tilt table.. it made me pass out and gave me an extreamly high heart
: : : rate.. anyways.. i go back to the cardio on monday and he is gonna put me on
: : : a home 30 day moniter where i call in and report everything that happens or

: Hi teresa, I had one of those 30 day monitors. I only had two "electric wires" attached to the lead pads, one just under the collar bone and one under the breast. When I took a shower, I disconnected the wires but left the pads in place. Every few days the pads had to be replaced because it started itching under them... The monitor I had , had room for 6 episodes and after that (or before) I dialed a phone number and transmitted whatever was on the tape. Pretty simple, really. The monitor looks like a pager and attaches onto your waistband. It will record only if you press a button. I did not have it on at night since obviously I was not awake to press a button if there was an event.
