Hi. I had one of those monitors about 3 years ago. I believe it saved my life. I was having fainting spells/blackout spells, but of course, never when I was at the doctor's. After wearing it about a week I began having them again-- about 6 episodes in a couple of hours! I phoned them in and the hospital wanted me there immediately. They were waiting for me when I got there, and I wasn't off an automatic defriberlator until my pacemaker was installed two days later. Turns out I had complete heart block. The monitor is totally painless, and possibly very beneficial. Good luck. Sandy
