i recently found out that i have chronic hep. b and i was told that i am fine for now and should have checkups etc. i had very brief (maybe a few penetrations) unprotected sex with someone and i am wondering how big the risk is of her getting hep. b from me. what are the symptoms and how soon do the symptoms occur? is it true that most adults recover easily from hep b? i don't know how worried i should be and i certainly can not tell this to her.
