: : : hi pattie--
: : sean..........
: : thank you for taking the time to respond.....if you want, heres my email.....maybe we can chat icq or msn,yahoo.....whatever.
: : hugs......email@example.com
: : : yes, i had a biopsy, and even had a mild reaction to it, which is extrememly uncommon. most have not any pain to speak of, give themselves a day's rest, and its over. the information it provides is priceless, i believe. even tho i reacted a bit more negatively than most people, i will probably want one again in a year or so to monitor what my insides are doing. i found the info just so important. you might also be glad to know that the very large majority of hcv patients get pretty good, not alarming, news from the bio. it is much more common to find mild or moderate, or even no, fibrosis (the key measure) than otherwise.
: : : so--be of good cheer!
: : : you probably know by now that your viral count is not as important as biopsy results, but you should know it. and, of course, the genotype of virus is very impt. for treatment considerations. hcv genotypes vary enormously in their statistical probablilty of good response to treatment. i hope your dr. is the type to share openly all test procedures, rationales, and results. if not, i'd say go get a dr. who will!
: : : best of everything.

: : : : : i'm 55 (old, right?), found out i had hcv a year ago, but have had it for what appears from all evidence to be more than 30 years. so, the first thing you might wanna know is, it doesn't knock us out of comission (usually) any too quickly.
: : : : : reading and learning are definitely the order of the day. What else is on your mind?
: : : : : sean
: : : : : : im female,46 years old and have recently been diagnosed with Hepatitis C. I'm reading and learning everyday....just want to chat with others, with the same.
