For a good source of information, go to www.hcop.org and click on favorite links. The links are categorized and make it easy to do your research. They were put together by a patient on treatment weho wanted an easier way to keep tracjk of the research and information.
You will need a biopsy to determine what the cause of the elevated enzymes are with such a low viral load. You may or may not opt for treatment at this time once that information has been gathered.
There are factors, such as other medications and alcohol (a real NO for someone with HCV!) that can account for the enzymes, as well as the HCV itself. The biopsy is the ONLY way to know.
The site also has information on how to communi\cate with very knowledgeable HCV patients and former patients about issues relating to HCV, including a mentoring program.
I hope this helps,

: has had to deal with it or actually knows what
: they are saying about it. So any feedback or
