Yes it is possible. I saw a show on TV where a man's brother donated a third of his liver and both
regrew within 6 months to full size. The key is the same with all rejections. The donor must
be a close relative, preferaby a brother or sister, however, the donors are not limited to these. I
am on the waiting list for a liver here at the Kirklin Clinic in Birmingham, Al and have Chronic
Liver Disease with varicese, encephalopathoy, and hep c. Hope this helps. Good luck.
