: : I`ve been on the combination therapy of the injections and capsules for a little over 6mos. I`ve LOST who I`am. I don`t have a suppot group and not only am I finding EXTREAMING difficult to cope, but I`m putting my Husband and children thru my hell. I hate this sometimes unprediable, mood swings etc. I would really love to talk with someone.

: Hi Kathy--I am in Nursing school and I have discovered the internet through having to use a computer for an online class I'm taking. I have Hep c and am on combination therapy. Yes, It can make you and those you love very crazy. I am learning that stress corelates with how well my liver is doing. It is imperative that I limit stress causing circumstances in my life. I can't promise you I will log on regularly, but I will try to log on occaisionally. I am developing a support group for my church with the help of other Nursing students. This illness and the therapy defintely calls for the support of others who understand how fatiguing this disease can be. I am having a hard time getting loved ones and freinds to understand how sick I really am, because sometimes I appear to be just fine. Hang in there and make time for yourself to relax and rebuild your inner resources. Don't plan too much for those days you are on interferon injections. Your freind, Pearl
Kathy, I have had the hep c for several years but my doctor said after a liver biopsy that I had mild damage and didn't seem that worried about it. He did mention the mixture of drugs, but am I going to be able to work and handle this medicine?
