: : Well you know the drill been feelin gbad for a while.
: : Can't eat but I sure can sleep. So I went and had my blood work done My viral load was like 350,000 so Thanby if your reading this tell me what you think. There sending me to see a specialist now in hep. Haven't done my biopsy yet but the rest of the test showed that my liver was not in too bad of shape. So is that high or is that still not to high for any major stress. Any info would be appreciated.
: : Thanks Jean

: Hello Jean,

: I am not a doctor or a specialist. One of the things I never do is give medical advice to people. So what I will tell you is general in nature and you definitely should see and discuss all of your concerns with a specialist.

: As to a viral load. The viral load fluctuates as do the ALT's and AST's. A PCR of 350,000 is low. (Very good!)

: It is your biopsy result which will tell the tale regarding the actual condition of your liver. You must have this done to know where you stand.

: Taken all together, your labs will give a fairly good indication of your liver's health.

: So far, so good, though. Looks to me as though you have every reason to believe your liver is in pretty good shape! Be sure not to drink alcohol or smoke anything. eat well, and exercise.

: Keep me posted. I'll be looking for your results.

: I hope this helps.

hey thanbey
Well I said that I would keep you posted so here goes. Had my ultrasound done about two weeks ago. my genotype tests should be back this week suppose I find out the result of those when I find out about my biopsy. Its sceduled for 4-25.
He did give me some pills for my nasae?prilosec pretty good stuff. I've ate more in the past two weeks than I have in the past 2 months. I was feeling a little bad, so I started back on the methodone that he suggested getting back on but in the 3 weeks since my last visit it seems like he forgot htat he actually hinted around to me getting back on it. Any way I do feel better, I have a high stress restaurant I manage. I also heard that alot of drs. seem to not want to start people on the combo therapy when they are still so ccalled using, which is what some people seem to think the methadone program is. So tell me what you think about this.
