The secrecy you refer to is a requirement of the FDA. No manufacturer is allowed to say ANYTHING about a product unless it is authorized by the FDA, once the approval process has begun.
It is intended as a protection ahgainst false claims. Even labels and packaging much be approved throught the FDA.
I have heard of people having a difficult time on the Pegasys, but nothing like the side effects I have heard about from the combo treatment.
