: : I have herpes, and while subsequent outbreaks have not been nearly as painful as the primary one, I am wondering if anyone knows of any topical ointment that helps. I saw an add for" simply essential" or something like that, on the internet and wondered if anyone has tried it or anything else that might help. I don't really want to keep taking valtrex, but until I find something else that works, I will. Please, any suggestions?
