: I have HSV-2. Have been on anti-viral therapy for 6 months. Haven't had an outbreak in three months. I've been dating a girl who is HSV-free, and says she could care less that I have it, and it not scared of getting it. Actually, I'm scared for her. In any case, sometimes we use protection, sometimes not. Last week she got sick, her doc says it was the flu, but I'm not so sure. She was tired, her neck hurt, had a headache, threw up once. No fever, no swollen lymph nodes, and even better, no blisters or red areas or painful urination or herpes symptoms.

: So I thought I'd ask - Did she get HSV-2 without any blisters or symptoms? Or did she JUST have the flu? She is fine now, her sickness lasted all of 4 days.

: Any ideas??
Hi I have had herpies for 20 years now. I think I was one of the first to get it. I have been married for 14 years now and my husband has never got it. I also feared that he would get it, as a matter of fact the thought of him getting it made me feel sick. I can always tell when an outbreak is coming on and we just avoid doing it. I do other thing to please him at that time. You could do the same for her.
