Hi Your right Fd .. there is no set pattern to anyones breakout that I can find or read . except for when you are on your monthly period there can be a breakout if there is excessive rubbing against the normal infected area .. it seems I read that this could cause it to erupt. As it seems that the H has a pattern at times and will normally appear back at the scene of the crime so to speak but doesn't always follow that pattern because if you looked at the nerve pattern you would see it covers a large area which can be see n in Grays AnatomyAlso you can become infected several times even by your own hand tranfering if touching and placing in other areas.
. I had a Energy therapist healer tell me that when we have exstreme mental pain in our lives and we can't deal with it we as humans tend to create a split ego or personality to deal with the pain until we are in condition to deal with it up front. At times we do not even recognise that we have done this and can live all our lives this way . She believes that possibly this split can be the one that if you were in that mode when you intercepted herpes that it would also cause a time lapse in having breakouts or not depending if you were in that personallit mode at that time.
If you went to D.I.D you would read up on how these personality orders occur and can affect people..( Food for thought ) Good luck Magie
: : hi i was diagnosed with herpes simplex on on my genitalia area but so far i haven't had any recurrences...even after or before my period...it's been a month now and i keep reading people making comments about getting the recurrences AT LEAST twice every month...can anyone give me some hope and explain this to me?? am i one of the lucky people who'll never get it again ??: You may be one of those lucky people that never get another outbreak...but you may not. Just because you've been diagnosed does not mean there is any particular pattern to when you get outbreaks thereafter. I was diagnosed in November of 99, and I didn't have another true outbreak until August (or so) of 2000. I went through periods of extreme stress, bad eating habits and every other thing that are triggers of an outbreak and nothing. When I had my second outbreak, I was feeling good, exercising, eating right, and practically stress free. So who knows. All of those things help though, so definitely try to follow "doctor's orders". My good friend who also has herpes had a 3 year period between her first diagnosed outbreak and her next reccurance, and she hasn't had one since then (and it's been about two years).
: I have never really heard of a correlation between menstrual cycle and herpes outbreaks...Magie seems to be the resident good advice and information giver, any input on that one Magie?
