I'm sure a lot of you already know, but just in case you don't.... There are effective medications on the market (at least in the u.s.a.) that work!!! I have been taking "famvir" for a few months. I haven't had a breakout yet. My wife has been taking it for a couple of years and since she started she has only had one outbreak.

Just some FYI knowledge.
