Hi .. You must remember that just because these are herbs they can still be as harmful as prescription drugs . I tested it and it say yes that it can be harmful to your pregancy....and it will not suppress breakouts but it will help when broken out if taken everyday. The olive leaf is good for a tranquilizng affect helpful for the nervous tension. If taken internally it increases the secretion of bile and acts as a laxative by encouraging muscular contractions in the bowel, it is soothing to mucus membranes. it is used for a base for ointments an linamints . it is externally good for insect bites, burns or bruises, sprains and intense itching.. it is commonly used for antiseptic, astringent,or tranquilizer. I hope this will help you come to a decision. Good luck.
: Hi,
: I read some of this message board and bought some olive leaf extract. I am trying to conceive, so Im trying to stay away from any harmful perscription drugs. Does anybody know the effects of Olive Leaf Extract while pregnant and if it's safe? Any other suggestions would be appreciated! Also, how often should I take the olive leaf? Every day for supression or only when I break out? Thanks!
