I agree with Magie that this is not behaving like herpes. You should be extra careful when your girl friend is having a cold sore flareup, though. I believe I picked up my herpes this way. I thought my first outbreak was a spider bite in a really wierd place. It was my second outbreak that gave me my first clue.
