Hi some relly great information for you to help identify cold sore and herpes sores..http://www.go.com/?win=_search&sv=M6&lk=noframes&nh=10&ud9=IE5&qt=picture+of+herpes&oq=&url=http%3A//www.lovehappens.com/health/experts/bill/bill.11-23-98.html&ti=Shedding+Herpes&top=1207&svx=NotFound

Check it out .. good luck Magie

: You should always use condoms as sometimes when shedding it is not recognizable and you could catch it then...
: Never kiss anyone with cold sores or if you have cold sores as it is transferable. Yes you should avoid oral sex when broken out or cankor sores. Good luck

: : : Thank you Magie.

: : That's kind of what I thought was our situation. I guess, based on what you say, I should deffinately avoid kissing people when my lip is broken out. Is that the only time I need to be careful with others? Also, when my wife is not having symptoms, is is safe to have sex without a condom? Should we avoid oral sex when we have canker sores?

: : Thanks again for the advise.
: : : It sounds like you both have herpies you Simplex one and your wife Simplex two .. .. Or you may have contacted it many years ago and it has now just arisen.. as you can catch it from someone kissing you as a baby ,child or teenager and not even know they have it or you have it until now. Herpies is funny ..it can lay dormant for years then all of a sudden it is there .. It sometimes comes and goes with your mood swings and people can surely push each others buttons.. So talk to each other about this and find out what is happening in your life that is making your wife break out so often.
: : : Some times it can even be your diet .. try Eat Right for your Blood Type... Clean the toxins out of your body with an herbal cleanse. When I caught mine the man thought he had an ingrown hair on his penis.
: : : Go to the health clinic in your area and get checked next time ... they are very discreet

: : : : Several years ago my wife had sores on her genitals, and her doctor told her thet is was probably herpies. He did not do any lab test to confirm this. She has had outbreaks from time to time, and we avioid sex during these periods. I have never experienced any sores on my genital area. My wife and I both get canker sours in our mouths from time to time also, and we really don't know if these are associated with the herpies virus, or "other" influences, since we both engage in oral sex. I, also get, what I use to call a "feaver blister" on the outside of my lip about two or three times a year, in the exact same spot. I wonder about that at well, and if I can pass the virus to others by kissing. What do you think about the three symptoms we have?
