: I got the bad news about 4 months ago. I realized quickly that life will go on. I am in my mid twenties and have my dream job but I'm scared to date. It's like i have everything going for me yet it doesn't matter. The only thing causes me to have an anxiety attack is the thought of telling someone(make that anyone) I have herpes. This of course would be an issue if I became intrested in dating someone. I would rather avoid the situation all together and try to find someone in a similiar situation. I think that not only would I be good support but I could use a little myself. So where do people like me turn? I live in San Diego if that helps to anyone with some info.
As an option, a doctor can tell you about support groups in your area, if you want to be sure of someone else having the same situation. The choice would be up to you. Keep the positive attitude.
