Well when i got my first outbreak i thought that it might have been a yeast infection. but when i put on the cream it burned like no others business. So at least for me it did not work. but my doctor did give me a cream that took the pain and irration away. and it has worked well. actually it numbed things. it is wonderful for the more painful outbreaks
